Upon completing the requirements for each rank, the troop will award the badge. This will also include the Badge of Office. Replacement or lost badges will be paid by the Scout.

RECONGNITION AND COURTS OF HONOR

When a Scout advances, he should be recongnized as soon as possible preferably at the next unit meeting (Tenderfoot through Life only). He is recognized a second time at a public ceremony called a Court of Honor. The main purpose of the Court of Honor is to flurnish formal recognition for achievement and to provide incentive for other Scouts to advance. Formal Court of Honor are conducted at least three times a year (October, February and June) by the Troop and are mandatory for the Scouts, Parents or guardians to attend.
