MERIT BADGES

The National Office of the Boy Scouts of America maintain a listing of Merit Badges with the associated requirements.

1.  Merit Badge Counselor must be a registered adult and approved by out District. No counselor may work on a merit badge with his/her own son.

 2. Scouts must obtain a signed merit badge card from his/her Scoutmaster before he can contact a counselor or start to work on his merit badge. The Scoutmaster will give the Scout the Name, Address and Telephone number of the merit badge counselor for which the Scout is applying. The Scout must call the Counselor before he starts the Badge for instructions.
