Local tour permits application must be filed with council two weeks in advance of a scheduled trip of less than 500 miles.
National tour permit applications must be submitted to Council for approval at least one month before departure on a trip of more than 500 miles, or for a trop out of the United States. The Council forwards it to the regional office (G.N.Y.C.) For its approval.
