RESTRICTED ACTIVITIES

Because of legal considerations and potential danger to participants, the following activities have been declared as unauthorized and restricted by the Boy Scout of America.

1.      All-terrain vehicles

2.      Boxing, Karate and related martial arts are not authorized activities.

3.      Exploration of abandoned mines

4.      Varsity football teams and interscholastic or club football competition and activities are unauthorized.

5.      General aviation- hang gliding, microlite and ultralite flying, parachuting, hot air ballooning .

6.      Motorized speed events with potential hazards for participant including motorcycles, boats, drag racing, demolition derbies and related events.

       7.      Participation in amateur or professional rodeo events, the activity commonly referred as “WAR GAMES” where individuals shoot paint dye at one another is unauthorized.
